Our Hauliers First promotional offer provides drivers of our commercial customers with a credit account with an opportunity to enjoy 50% off food and drink when travelling with Caledonian MacBrayne.

Drivers who have been given access to the scheme by their organisation, through Caledonian MacBrayne, will simply present their Hauliers First card, along with their commercial driving license, at the till to receive their discount.

Paper vouchers for this scheme will no longer be accepted from 1 November 2024.

The terms and conditions upon which this offer is based are detailed below - and are subject to change. If required, new cards may take up to one month to process, and in some cases a processing fee may apply.

Hauliers First Terms and Conditions

  • Cards and fobs remain the property of CalMac Ltd and may be suspended, withdrawn, or cancelled at any time for any reason, including but not limited to the misuse or violation of the above Terms and Conditions 
  • Hauliers First cards or fobs must be presented at the time of purchase, along with a valid commercial driver's licence, during business hours for commercial use. They are strictly limited to business purposes and are not to be used for friends or family.
  • The card and fob may be separated; however, they are intended for use by a single purchaser only. They cannot be split or shared between individuals.
  • Discounts are valid in the Mariners and Coffee Cabins onboard.
  • The discount is NOT available on items purchased from the retail shop.
  • The discount is NOT available on any alcohol products.
  • Any misuse may lead to the voucher being withdrawn and the scheme being cancelled.
  • The discount is applicable per driver up to a maximum discount of £50 per day.
  • This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other Caledonian MacBrayne discounts.
  • CalMac Ferries Ltd accepts no responsibility for any issues arising from internet or transaction failures.
  • Account Customers in arrears or who fail to adhere to credit account terms may have their Haulier First Cards suspended or cancelled.

The above Terms and Conditions are subject to change.

Lost cards must be reported to business@calmac.co.uk as soon as possible and an application for a replacement card should be submitted. Replacement or additional cards may incur a charge.

Abuse of our colleagues will not be tolerated, and cards will be suspended pending any reports of such behaviour.


Definitions:

Commercial customer - companies who have a valid credit account with CalMac Ferries Ltd.
Drivers - individuals employed as drivers of commercial vehicles.
