Iona port

The mystical isle of Iona is an island wrapped up in myth and history that bewitches modern visitors just as it has to travellers for centuries past. Our route links the island with its larger neighbour of Mull, creating a short crossing from Fionnphort to explore all the island has to offer.

This is an unattended slipway. Tickets can be purchased on board or online in advance.

  • You cannot reserve a specific sailing on this route. However, we advise you purchase your ticket in advance.
  • If you arrive at the port without a ticket we may still be able to carry you. Please speak to ferry staff.
  • All vehicles must be in possession of a valid permit to travel to Iona.
  • Pre-Booking of vehicles is strongly recommended.
  • Crossing Time: 10 minutes.
