About the MV Catriona

Part of the new generation of vessels in the CalMac fleet, the MV Catriona is a diesel-electric hybrid – making the crossing from Lochranza to Tarbert with a renewed focus on fuel efficiency that helps lower our carbon output. Built in Scotland and representing our commitment to greener travel.

Relax on our snug passenger lounge (accessed from the car deck, furry friends welcome) or take a seat outside on our deck and marvel at the natural beauty of Scotland’s landscape as it gently drifts past.
