About the MV Loch Dunvegan

The MV Loch Dunvegan, Loch Dùnbheagan in Gaelic, was originally designed to sail between Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin on Skye but after the construction of the Skye bridge in 1995 it has found a new home making the short hop from Colintraive on the mainland to Rhubodach on the beautiful isle of Bute.

Relax and enjoy the ride

Onboard the MV Loch Dunvegan you can find a ship perfectly tailored for a short, comfortable crossing. Relax on our snug passenger lounge (accessed from the car deck, furry friends welcome) or take a seat outside on our deck and marvel at the natural beauty of Scotland’s landscape as it gently drifts past.
